We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as an Admissions Coordinator.
If you possess a strong background in healthcare administration, knowledge of Medicare requirements, and excellent communication skills, we invite you to be part of our dedicated team.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Medicare requirements and insurance providers Familiarity with EMR software systems Understanding of CMS guidelines and DOH regulations Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred:
Established relationships with local hospitals
Responsibilities:
As an Admissions Coordinator at Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Communicate with hospitals and referral resources to facilitate seamless admissions Assist in resolving operational issues affecting admissions Support marketing efforts to increase referrals and admissions Educate visitors on resident care procedures and policies Build and maintain relationships with hospitals and community organizations Ensure accurate financial verification before admission Stay updated on Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes Report monthly statistics to the team
