Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a talented System Administrator with excellent communication skills to join our IT Team in Holmdel, NJ!
Responsibilities:
o Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event logs warnings and errors, and resource monitoring.
o Evaluate, plan, migrate, deploy and manage Microsoft 365 services.
o Monitor server health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
o Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, security updates and patching.
o Experience working in a hybrid environment with on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
o Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
o Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.
o Interact with employees while resolving technical issues.
o Directing third-party vendors who may be involved in diagnosing and correcting in system related issues and assisting with solutions.
o Supporting Management with IT Requests and possible new implementations.
o Researching new IT Services/Vendors with management as needed for productivity process improvements to increase workflow efficiency.
o Supporting Management with tracking of computer/printer devices for asset controls.
o Create and present documentation for management and end users.
Qualifications:
o High School Diploma requiredo Minimum of 2 years IT experience in a Windows server environment as a System Administrator; 5
years with a college degree is highly preferredo Strong technical backgroundo Advanced Systems and Networking troubleshooting experienceo Strong customer service and communications skillso Experience with VMWare, Hyper-V, PowerShell, and scriptingo Experience with administration of Active Directory and Microsoft 365What We Offer:
