The clinical therapist is responsible for rendering professional clinical services to patients evaluating their psychiatric needs in the ER Crisis unit.
Work in collaboration with the ED physician, psychiatrist and nurse to formulate discharge referral or hospitalization
Provide patient with assessment/evaluation in a very busy ER crisis unit
A minimum of a Master of Social Work (MSW) or Master of psychological Counseling/Mental Health Counseling degree is required
Two years in a hospital bases mental health position is highly preferred, however new grads with strong internship experience will be considered.
Crisis experience a plus
LSW, LCSW, LAC or LPC required
CPR certification preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
